Get Ready for the SQAS 2025 Questionnaires – Now Live!

The revised and streamlined SQAS 2025 questionnaires have just been released. Starting from 15 September 2025, these updated questionnaires will be used in all SQAS assessments. We will provide translations of the questionnaires to French, German, Italian, and Spanish when the 2025 version enters into force.

What are the main changes?

• GHG Emission measuring section: addition of a completely new and extended section for the measurement and management of GHG emissions for transport services, warehouses, tank cleaning stations including

• Digitalisation and Cybersecurity: inclusion of new questions on digitalisation and cybersecurity, partly in collaboration with the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).

• Container Depot/Transfer Terminal Module: introduction of a new questionnaire for Container Depot/Transfer Terminal assessments, including sections on Behavioural-Based Safety (BBS), equipment maintenance, and GHG emissions.

• Alignment with Standards: alignment with ISO 14083 for quantifying and reporting GHG emissions from transport chain operations. The Rail Module will be updated to reflect the latest requirements.

• OCS: new requirements for warehouses, distributors, transport companies and freight forwarders to be aligned with IMO Circular MEPC/909.
