SQAS Training in Action: Improving Safety and Quality in Chemical Logistics
SQAS is more than an assessment scheme, it is a practical tool for the chemical industry to evaluate and continuously improve the safety, environmental, security, and quality performance of logistics service providers and distributors. Training plays a central role in making this possible, ensuring that all actors in the value chain can apply SQAS requirements effectively and consistently.
Among the main audiences of these trainings are chemical companies preparing for evaluating SQAS assessments, logistics service providers and distributors building competence in areas such as safety, security, quality and environmental management, and assessors and in-house auditors strengthening their ability to apply SQAS requirements consistently.
Supporting a Stronger, Connected Industry
SQAS is built on a unique network of more than 140 chemical companies across Europe, bringing together both large and small players with a shared commitment to high standards. Beyond assessments, SQAS provides tools, guidance, and a collaborative framework that help companies improve safety, quality, and sustainability practices over time.
A Programme Designed for Impact
Over the 2025–2026 period, more than 1,100 participants have taken part in:
- Webinars on the new SQAS 2.0 platform and 2025 questionnaires, aimed at all users (chemical companies, assessed companies, and assessors)
- Masterclasses focused on GHG emissions, digitalisation, and the new 2025 SQAS questionnaires, exclusively for SQAS Service Group and L&D User Group members
- A public webinar on the new questionnaire and its benefits— a first-of-its-kind session opened to everyone
